Mauvy Lip Tutorial

"Mauvy", "Kylie Mauve Nude Lip", "Mauvy Nude Lip", these are all terms that have been lingering around all of social media. This lip has been my GO-TO Fall lip and I am sure it will be my GO-TO Winter lip. I love this shade because it complements any skin tone and if over drawn with taste it can make your lips appear larger, which I am sure a lot of us would love.

In order to achieve this lip I use three very inexpensive products. The first is Prestige lip liner in the color KISS, I use this one to line my lips and fill it in a little as you can see on the second photo. The second product is Milani lipliner 04 in NATURAL which I use to fill in my lips. Then I take Maybelline's 930 TRUFFLE TEASE  and finish off this Mauvy/Kylie inspired Lip. I will link all the products below incase any of you are interested in purchasing them.

I hope you all enjoyed this Tutorial. If you try it out or anything similar I would love to see it :) send it to me on instagram or twitter. You can find all my social media links down below.

DIY School Supply Case

Today I have a great DIY/Recycle idea for all your old phone cases. I few months ago my sister gave me this iphone case (which I did not like for my phone). Instead of throwing it away I decided to recycle it and use it for my school supplies. I wanted to share this amazing idea with you all since I feel like many people have similar cases just lying around at home. I Hope you all enjoy this DIY/Recycle idea. If you do this I would LOVE to see them so send them to me on twitter (@iBrendaMichelle) or tag me on instagram (@i_brendamichelle9)

Midnight Plum *Make-Up Look*

This past week I went out for a friends birthday and had this dark plum look made with the Lorac Pro Palette 2. A lot of my friends wanted me to show them how I made it therefore I decided to make a post about it.

Personally I LOVE dark looks for any night outing because it makes anyone look fierce, and adds that extra hint of glamour to any outfit. Wether it be green, blue or brown eyes a dark eye shadow suits any. Either this look or another I encourage you all to play around with different bold eye looks.

Tutorial:
1st PRIME : The Lorac Palette comes with a primer which I love but you can use any other primer.

2nd TRANSITION COLOR: I use the color "Nectar"and blend, blend, blend.

3rd CREASE COLOR: I use the color "Lt Brown" since it is somewhat of a good transition but a bit darker it does a good job of bringing the lid color into the lighter transition color.

4th LID COLOR: Take "Plum" and tap it onto your lid. Pack the color as dark as you prefer. Personally I go really dark :)

5th INNER EYE COLOR: take "Rose" and add a bit to your inner eye area.

6th BROW HIGHLIGHT: I then take "Snow" and add it under my eye brow as a highlight

Alternative
7th UNDER EYE: after adding your foundation if you would like some extra drama to your look you can take "Cocoa" and with a pencil brush add it underneath your eyes.

I Hope you all enjoyed this tutorial. If there are any other looks you would like to see please comment below. As well if you have any questions please let me know I love hearing about you all. Do you like darker eye looks or more natural looks?

REGRET by Brenda Michelle

I do not believe in REGRET
but if I allowed myself to believe
then I would REGRET

The nights slept in.
the words unspoken.
the people unheard,
and the feelings not felt.

But since I do not believe in REGRET
I then instead appreciate

The nights slept in.
the words spoken,
the people heard,
and the feelings felt.

For years I was scared of many things. Leaving Los Angeles, falling in love, and my greatest fear, dying. As time passed and I experienced great things as well as horrible things I learned the most important lesson of my life: Regardless of wether an experience is a "Good" one or a "Bad" one I will Live it, Love it and Learn from it. No matter what religion, God, or higher power that one believes in every experience should be lived. Although for a long time I felt REGRET towards a lot of decisions made, and experiences lived I no longer believe in REGRET but rather in Living.

July Favorites

I know I am a bit late, and August started already but I still wanted to show you all some of my July Favorites. From make-up to snacks I will show you what I have been obsessed with this past month.

The first item is my red purse which I have been using non-stop this summer. It is so easy to use and match with almost anything since it is a plain color. Another plus is the fact that you can zip up or down the side to make it more classy or more fun. This purse is from Forever 21 and cost about $25 definitely worth it in my opinion. The material is very sturdy and the color is very vibrant.

The second item is the foundation I have been obsessed with. Rimmel London STAY MATTE *liquid mousse foundation*. I really like this foundation because it controls my oily skin and does not make my face all sticky and slippery with sweat and foundation. I bought this product at ULTA on special for less than $5.

The third item is my go to bronzer. Lately I have been using powder bronzer just to keep my face less sticky and oily. My all time favorite bronzer for this summer is the Physicians Formula *Happy Bronzer* (not sure if that is what it is called). I love that it is not just one shade but actually has many shades you can mix together to create the best shade for your skin tone. I also bought this product on special for less than $10.

The fourth item is my favorite nail polish that I have on my nails now and have had for most of July. It is SINFULCOLORS *white nail polish* . I think that it looks great when you have tanned skin and your nail polish is white, it makes a really good combination.

I also had to add my new cuticle cream which I have been using a lot. When I am stressed or nervous I bite my side fingers a little. This makes my fingers, mainly my cuticles look a bit ugly. However, this Burt's Bees *Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream* has softened my fingers and made my hands over all very soft and much prettier.

Another Burt's Bees product I have been loving is the *Caramel Daisy Tinted Lip Balm*. It soothes my lips as well as adds a beautiful nude tint to my them.

And off course I had to add a snack. Well this snack is more of my breakfast. They are the *belvita Breakfast Biscuits* specifically the BLUEBERRY! kind. These biscuits are healthy, filling, and delicious. I usually eat them in the morning with some juice and a fruit for breakfast; especially when I am late to work.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me I would love to hear from you all. Most of these products can be found at any large store such as Target, Walmart, or CVS. I hope you all continue to have a great summer and to those starting school I wish you the best of luck!

Comment down below what are your JULY FAVORITES? :)

Love and Life

We must all learn how to jump into Love and Life. At times it is difficult and we do get scared that maybe that person, or choice we made was not the right one but remember that every experience is worth living and remembering.

L'OREAL Hair system Review

Hair is a girls most treasured jewel. Wether it is curly, straight, or somewhere in between we all love to have strong and healthy hair. I know I do. for some time my hair has been thinning out a lot and just did not feel right. I felt like my hair was very damaged. Not only did I loose my curls I also had a lot of hair fall when I would comb my hair. I have tried so many shampoos, conditioners, and treatments and some have worked and others not.

Recently I found the L'OREAL Hair systems. I decided to try the Ever Strong Sulfate-Free Hair and Scalp Treatment first because my hair was at its thinnest. After the first 2 uses I instantly felt a difference. I do not know how to measure hair thickness; but my hair definitely felt stronger and looked very different. It was not as light and did not fall as much.

After about 2 weeks of trying this system I decided to try the L'OREAL Oleo Therapy Hair system. The reason why I have been loving this system is because it has brought back my curls! The hair mask is amazing. Not only does it make my hair extremely soft but makes my curls pop up like no other.

I definitely recommend both of these systems. If your hair is already pretty healthy and thick I would recommend you just buy the Oleo Therapy system. All the products are sold individually and are economical (below $15 each) I bought mine at Target and CVS. I hope you all found this review helpful. If you try out any of the systems I would love to hear how you like them. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to post them below. Also what do you all use to have healthier hair?

Thank you all for visiting my blog. Love you all
